I wrote a book

From January 2010 through November 2011 I wrote a novel while making Archetype. While it started as a small project intended as a sort of freebie to be released in tandem with Arc, it grew into a much larger project. The end result is a very long book (roughly half as long as The Bible) that I'm posting chapter-by-chapter over this fine blog. But if you head over there, you'll want to start at the Prologue.

Why pimp it on a separate project's blog? Well, it ties into Archetype (and, by extension, Transmissions), and while I don't want to reveal my cards quite yet, it completes the unofficial trilogy of Transmissions, Archetype, and the book, titled Meridien K. So while Meridien K doesn't involve Ridley Kraid, it's in the same league with the themes of my other work.

And as always, there are a few breadcrumb scattered around that point toward my future projects...

Thus I thought it pertinent to post a notice here. And did I mention that the book is free? People like free things. And if you don't like it, well, you can stop reading and get your zero dollars refunded. Everyone wins.

Below are several ways to watch my first feature film, Transmissions. It was the product of eight months of work, and I'm very proud of it. I hope you watch and enjoy. - JDK

2010.02.28 Update: Transmissions has been rejected from all 21 festivals in which it was considered. As per their guidelines, I am now allowed to post streams of the entire film. If by chance you're at this site and aren't aware that I'm already well into production on my next film, Archetype, you can go to my blog and read up on progress relating to that project.

As with any filmmaker, I prefer my work to be watched at the best quality possible, so if you're interested, shoot me an e-mail or comment on this post if you want a free DVD of the film and I can provide that.

I'm not sure if I have my privacy permissions set right, but these should work since I set them for "everyone" available to view. If it doesn't work, shoot me an e-mail and I can friend you or something.

Also, Facebook's 20-minute time limit allowed me to post the full "segments" of the film without the arbitrary separation I had to do to meet YouTube's 10-minute limit.
